The alphabet in capital letters printed in gray on p. [2] of wrappers, and the alphabet in lower case letters printed in gray on p. [3] of wrappers with gray and white drawings within text on both. This book is populated with characters straight out of fairy tales and nursery rhymes, pairing each letter from "A" to "Z", with one of the characters in a short verse, e.g., "A stands for Aladdin who had a lamp which / Made him and his mother both happy and rich;" illustrated within text throughout, nine letter and verse pairs in full color, the remaining letter and verse pairs in either blue and white, green and white or red and white.
