[8] pp. This is a simple alphabet book with each letter printed in upper case and paired with a verse and illustration that is in some way related to the letter, e.g., "A stands for Alice to Archie so dear, He's never happy unless she is near. B stands for Bowl with beautiful Bouquet, Roses they plucked from the hedges to-day. C stands for Children we all love so well, Songs we will sing them and tales we will tell;" illustrations and text printed in one of four alternating color schemes: all green, all gray, full color illustrations and black text, or all medium brown; internally the book is fine save for a rusty staple.
