There is a picture alphabet of birds and beasts, there are popular nursery rhymes, instructional stories, entertaining stories, including Jack and the Giants, which is illustrated by Richard Doyle, there are parables and much, much more; hand colored illustrations throughout with scattered spotting to several of the pages.
