[8] pp. This is a simple alphabet book with each letter printed in upper case and paired with a verse and illustration that is in some way related to the letter, e.g., "A is for Ada too busy to play Because it is her heaviest washing-day. B stands for Bowl full of water and soap, She won't make herself very wet I hope. C for the Clothes she is washing so clean, For she said 'dolly's not fit to be seen';" illustrations and text printed in one of four alternating color schemes: all green, all gray, full color illustrations and black text, or all medium brown; internally the book is fine save for a rusty staple.
