Plain endpapers with the outline remaining where something had previously been applied to the front paste-down with a corresponding area of offsetting to FFEP; gift inscription dated Dec 25 1910 to FFEP. [26] pp. The book covers a full year with the Brownies. Each month has a page of verse appropriate for that month, and a beautiful full page chromolithograph illustrating the verse and featuring the Brownies on the opposing page, for a total of twelve beautiful chromolithographs by Cox; additionally illustrated with numerous black and white drawings by Cox on the twelve pages of verse; scattered light finger marks and two facing pages with a small amount of staining in the margins; internally the book is very good +.
