The original cloth binding remains structurally secure and tight, exhibiting minor routine rubbing to the corners, a small localized rub to the cloth at the upper right quadrant of the lower board, and slight, typical dulling to the gilt within the front cover title block. Internally, the delicate French-fold sheets are well-preserved, with the outer fore-edges remaining completely intact and unbroken.
