(Zoo Animals) THE ZOO RAG BOOK (CODE NO. 155); illustrated by  Edith Sarah Berkeley. London: Dean's Rag Book Co., Ltd., between 1914-1919. FIRST EDITION. Oblong 8vo - 5-1/4" x 8-3/4". Color pictorial limp cloth wrappers, sewn at the spine as issued, in pristine condition for what is a wonderful copy of the book. [8] butterfly-folded double cloth pp. including wrappers; pinking to head and foot of book. This is a simple animal book featuring animals one would find in a zoo. Each page has a color illustration of one of the animals, along with a short story about it, e.g., "I am a Seal. I live either on land or in water. My food consists chiefly of fish;" internally the book is without flaw; original publisher's [4] pp. advertising slip laid in. The condition of the book is FINE. Only two copies located on OCLC/WorldCat (Princeton University Library; Auckland Libraries). RARE; especially so in such nice condition. # 001116
