This book, which was written for a juvenile audience, tells the history of Elizabeth Woodville, Queen consort of Henry VII King of England, whose marriage on January 18, 1486 united the Houses of York and Lancaster, and formed the House of Tudor which would rule the Kingdom of England until 1603 with the death of Elizabeth I, granddaughter of Henry VII and Elizabeth of York [Elizabeth Woodville]; illustrated with a total of twenty-four hand-colored engravings; internally a trifle foxed.
