This delightful French language children's picture book tells the humorous story of three little rabbits that look exactly alike except for the color of their tails; and that is the only way their mother can tell them apart (one has a white tail, one has a black tail and one has a red tail). All goes well until the brothers find a pot of green paint and decide to paint each of their tails green. As it turns out, their mother does not think it is nearly as funny as the brothers thought is was going to be. Spoiler Alert: All turns out well in the end, even if it means the brothers miss out on a yummy meal of carrots because of their misguided stunt; illustrated throughout with highly stylized rabbit designs by Guastalla printed in black, gray, green, red and white; minor rubbing to the internal board corners. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD +. Only two copies located on OCLC/WorldCat (Bibliotheque nationale de France; Openbare Bibliotheek Amsterdam). EXCEEDINGLY RARE; and exceedingly cute and special! # 001139
