Plain endpapers with Henry Frederick 6th Marquess of Bath bookplate on front paste-down. 30, [4] pp. From the head of the title-page, we have "A Little Play for Little People", all told in verse, with an interesting cast of characters and with Punch up to his usual antics; by the end of the two act play, it seems that no one was any worse for wear and that everyone had learned some worthwhile lesson from all the chaotic action; illustrated with a sumptuous hand-colored wood-engraved title-page plus fourteen wonderful hand-colored wood-engravings within text; [2] pp. publisher's advertisements with corrective slip "A. & S.
