Original publisher's color pictorial paper covered two part box with the book's cover design repeated on the box top; areas of edge and corner wear to box top but both top and bottom parts are completely intact and absolutely wonderful; a small price sticker on the plain box bottom indicates that this item was originally retailed by Joseph Horne Co. for $1.50. [12] pp. including front and back thick board paste-down endpapers. Printed on green colored thick board, each page features a large, full color drawing by Meyers, contained within a border of white flowers; beneath each drawing is a verse by Nesbit corresponding to the drawing above. Internally the book is without flaw. This title being one of the titles in the Volland Jolly Kid Book Series. The condition of the book is FINE. The condition of the box is VERY GOOD +.
