Color pictorial stiff card wrappers with a die-cut top edge that follows the shape of the boy's head that appears on the wrappers; two holes punched through all leaves with the exception of the final leaf, or back wrapper, forming the eye openings of the boy that appears on each recto in the book, with two Vari-Vue eyes placed inside back wrapper where they can be seen through each recto's punched eye openings; additional hole punched at top of book for hanging; minute touches of wear to lower corners for what is a wonderful copy of the book. [16] pp. including wrappers, all printed on stiff card. The book contains seven short stories, each features Jim, a grade school lad who seems to lead quite the active life; each of these stories is printed on one of the book's versos and is illustrated with full color drawings within text; each story's opposing recto is illustrated with a full page full color drawing of Jim dressed in attire appropriate to the drawing's corresponding story (and always with the Vari-Vue eyes seen flickering away). Internally the book is as new with the exception of a discrete gift inscription on the inside of the back wrapper. The condition of the book is NEAR FINE. No copies located on OCLC/WorldCat.
