[48] pp. Book III of Lada's Cheerful Textbooks is illustrated with twenty-four full color, three-quarter page drawings of anthropomorphic insects by the famed Czech painter, illustrator and writer, Josef Lada; evidently smoking among anthropomorphic insects was rampant in 1932 as fully one-quarter of Lada's drawings depict pipe smoking insects; Lada's illustrations are supplemented with Josef Foltyn's verses and scientific notes by Prof. Victor Jedlicka; internally the book is without flaw.
