Blue cloth backed color pictorial glazed card wrappers die-cut in the shape of a "Punch and Judy" booth, with the Beadle, Punch and Toby on the stage, with wear to the extremities and light soiling to the back wrapper for what is an attractive copy of the book; registration no. 138880 stamped to base of front wrapper. [18] pp. including inside wrappers. The book contains four pages of a play for children to act; the rest of the book contains twenty-nine chromolithographs by G. H. Thompson of Punch, Judy, et al., acting out scenes from the play with lines from the play printed as captions; pages somewhat age-darkened. Preserved in a collector's blue cloth folding box. The condition of the book is GOOD +. Only one copy located on OCLC/WorldCat (University of Cambridge). EXCEEDINGLY RARE # 000784
