(Salesman's Dummies) THE BANDIT BUNNY ALPHABET AND OTHER STORIES [Salesman's Dummy] written by Charles M. Snyder; pictures by George Reiter Brill. [Philadelphia]: [American Book and Bible Company], (1901). 8vo - 6-15/16" x 8-13/16". Color pictorial stiff card wrappers with a crease to the upper fore edge corner of the book effecting both the front and back wrappers for what is otherwise a really nice copy of this salesman's sample book. [8] pp. including wrappers. This salesman's sample contains a random selection of pages from the full published book, bound within the published book's front and back covers; all pages with a creased upper fore edge corner corresponding to the crease evident in the wrappers. The book contains a rabbit based alphabet illustrated with full color drawings within text; additionally, there are children's stories and adaptations of well know nursery rhymes, all illustrated with either full color drawings or sepia line drawings within text. Dummy is bound within a plain paper wrapper; said wrapper with a few short closed tears along top and bottom edges. Also bound within the plain paper wrapper, before the book's sample pages, is a prospectus for the publisher's "Matchless 50 Cent Linen Book[s]"; prospectus lists this title along with two other children's book titles. The condition of the bookseller's dummy is VERY GOOD. # 000651
