Red cloth backed color pictorial paper covered boards with rubbing to the corners and edges and a piece of the covering paper, measuring approximately 1/2" x 2-1/4", missing from the back cover for what is a wonderful copy of the book. Gray floral motif on a tan background endpapers. [50] pp. The book contains three different stories told in verse; each story has it's own illustrated title-page. The stories are: Visit to the Circus, The Monkeys' Circus, and The Wonderful Performing Dogs. Every page is illustrated with a vibrant, near full page chromolithograph showing the energy and excitement of the circus and the incredible feats of the circus' animal and human performers; internally the book is fine. The condition of the book is VERY GOOD. Only one copy (Florida State University) of this edition of the book located on OCLC/WorldCat. EXCEEDINGLY RARE and truly a grand circus production. # 000738
